plain clay chair
Maarten Baas designed this new series, the Plain Clay collection, on the basis of his previous Clay series. The fingerprints of the hands that shaped the clay are still visible, so that each piece of furniture is unique. Unlike the original clay series, this new clay is processed in a way that makes lacquering unnecessary. A special technique gives the material four different colours: black, red, blue, green.
All pieces are made by hand in the atelier of Maarten Baas.
